Ballooning Capital of the World
In October, the world’s largest hot air balloon festival takes flight. Over 700 balloons fill the sky, more than anywhere else in the world. The community has over 300 local resident balloonists who take flight throughout the year. Clear blue skies, warm climate, and calm winds make this an ideal region to balloon.
